Mmmm, Linkloaf!

From my previous post Blog Links, I've had an idea as to how I should list the accessible information I have generated and/or accessed which has contributed and/or will contribute to the advancement of society.

Here is the first batch to be listed on my blog; henceforth (...imagine trumpets trumpeting...) to be named and also searched via keyword: Linkloaf!

Think of linkloaf like meatloaf; the stuff your grandmother would throw all together into a pan, bake and serve up to you. Enjoy!

and another link with value...
Lucky I joined this forum to find this great bit of info

In case you were wondering where linkloaf! came from, I just made it up. I created the word linkloaf! today because I thought a keyword would be a great way to search the site with respect to this topic, instead of just "links" or "link list" or something else equally boring. I immediately went to google to search for funny words, and while searching this page I saw LOAF. At first I thought, who wants to think about loaf, I associated it with lazy; and I am NOT lazy. But it started to grow on me right away and when I put it together with link I knew I had something! The exclamation point is just a little extra fun. Linkloaf! is a lot more exciting and certaily funnier than plain linkloaf, don't you think so too?

So there you have it... my creation. I will now search google for linkloaf to find out if anyone else has coined my keyword ;o) ahead of me!

...give me 1 (one) hour...

I have been one hour early and one hour late just too many times;

I'm now golden: Daylight Savings Reference Guide

Outlook and my cellphone are my two new best friends; I thought I liked them before. Now they will inform me ('course I still have to program this event and I have not found a program which does THAT yet) that Daylight Savings time will occur on... (input date and time here) ...ding ding, notify, notify.

This wired article is very interesting if you are a multi-state/international business person. Read pasted text from linked wired article here

Blog Links

Two things of particular value to this website happened to me tonight:

1. I realised how much I wanted to track multiple related links together, and 2. I realised I have the power of my BLOG to track them.

I have found that the saved links in my web browser are diffucult at best to manage. Constantly being rearraged into groups, renamed, etc. and really what I want is to be able to access them by the date they are created and with the frame of mind I was in when I found them. As you can imagine, this is just not really easily configurable within the "normal" browser favorites menu.

You see, I hunt down subject matter while surfing. Work links. Relevant / I need this link right away / What is taking so long??? / I just looked at it yesterday, where is it now?! LINKS!

This infectious blogging attitude is strengthed by a friend of mine, Darrell. He asked me if I update this website. At the time he asked I had to reply "no"; Only because of my time limitations. *time limitations are so annoying!*

I believe since he has said this bold statement to me (he may not have thought it bold - but I take all suggestions with some, sometimes much thought) I should update this site with greater frequency, but how, and with what? (I also wondered what to write in this space.)

I also cannot forget there are times I will get side tracked a little while riding the waves of information but you know the saying, "All work and no play makes Jack Robin a dull boy girl!"

The subconscious mind is of upmost value to me so I have dedicated many sleeping hours hashing out this quandry and smack dab tonight it all came together. Eureka! The goldmine has hit.

This evenings venture has been a quest for many things, possibly the answer which has led to this post. I will leave you with the two funniest links and will get statred to serious linkage (and some not so serious) most likely tomorrow; or Monday - whichever make more sense.
